Robin L. Davison, MPH, JD
CEO and Founder
Robin Davison founded STAT kids, LLC after her 11 month-old son, Sam, was diagnosed with severe food allergies in 2004. After several close calls, Robin began searching for practical, age-appropriate products to help identify Sam when he was at school, camp, birthday parties and playdates. Frustrated by the lack of backpacks, lunch bags or ID bracelets that clearly labeled his specific food allergies, Robin created a line of products to do just that. Robin custom-designed each STAT kids™ product with considerable research, product testing and feedback from parents and teachers across the country. After countless requests from parents of children with other health concerns, she expanded the company’s product line to address the needs of these kids as well.
In addition to running STAT kids, Robin works as a consultant, educating teachers and school directors about food allergies and appropriate safety measures. She also sits on the Business Advisory Board of the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA). Previously, she worked as a medical malpractice defense attorney in New York City. Robin received her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University, her Master’s Degree in Public Health from Columbia University and her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Robin and her husband live in the Philadelphia suburbs with their three children. |
